Take deep breaths.

Make a tasty cup of tea

Go to the gym.

Go for a long walk

Brush your teeth

Have sex.

Remember that they pass quickly.

I have quit smoking about 6 weeks ago, and I'm almost ok now ;-) I miss my cigarettes sometimes, when I feel down or after meals, but I manage to resist.
I agree Elaine, taking deep breaths really helps ; it gives a comparable sensation of lungs being "full of something" (it was the main thing I enjoyed while smoking).
And also I think about what I have gained thanks to quit : I can sing better and higher (almost gained 1 full tone in the high voice), with more breath. And no more "cat in the throat" :-)
