I received a package from Amazon two days ago and excitedly ripped open the box to have a look at your first of many books to come. First, the cover is so terrific! Modern, eye-catching, just wonderful. The clear image of you against the out-of-focus, hustle-bustle city, is perfect. You look at once contemplative and adventurous.

So, I dove right into it. I was immediately taken back several months, but it was several months plus a few more days. The inside look into what you were experiencing and the way you describe it, along with your reluctance to share the loss of your job with family, friends, and the world at large, pulled at my heart-strings once again. Then there was the 'coming out' with your news to YouTube, to CCOR.

I feel like I say so many wrong things at the wrong times. But there I was, looking at members' videos on CCOR the day you shared the the loss of your job. I was devastated; this announcement was personal. I did not want you, you of all people, to go through this difficulty. I talked about pride in what I wrote. I was so proud of your demeanor. So classy! But the book explains all of your thinking at the time, which is so wonderfully insightful in retrospect. Regarding what I wrote, I was compelled to tell you what you mean to me and to us and, like you, turn the situation over to Universe and intend the brightest of futures. I sent that post in tears myself, but to read in your book about your gratitude for all of the supportive CCOR posts brings me so much joy!

I devoured half the book in that first day and cannot wait to finish it, and to buy the next one, and the next one. My favorite parts so far: your observation that 'people have their own agenda,' your general use of the phrase 'quantum leap of faith,' and the sections Life As A Recipe, and Put Those Mushrooms In The Bin!

What a treat this book is! And how clever to include me so that I am compelled to buy it for all my friends! Like all of us, your journey is so noteworthy, so memorable, so edge-of-your-seat, and so epic. Grab that power that is your manifest destiny! I use the word 'courage' and you use the word 'juicy' as the distillation of our world-views. Let's continue to live in those important words. Juicy! Juicy! Juicy! Take care sweetheart. Courage!

Beautiful! Nice memories! I laughed out loud at the car one: "using the CLUB and installing a separate cigarette lighter plug in alarm that needed a key to deactivate. (What the hell was I thinking?)" :P Very nice. :)
