WELCOME TO THE FEEL GOOD FOOD GROUP

I am creating this group as a place to share foods and recipes that feel good to our body, to consequently, attract our natural weight.

The principle is simple: Eat food that feels good when you eat it but also after eating it. Ask your body if this feels good. Please share your experiment with this group!

I believe that it is our mission to take care of our bodies, eat what is right so we can be more intuitive, have more energy, vibrate higher, attract more and love more!

I will be applying this principle in my season 8, starting March 1st, as i would like to give to my body what it needs for the awesome manifestations to come!

RAW FOODS INTERVIEW PART 1.

Here is a link to the video i did a while back on Youtube on "Lose Weight applying the Law of Attraction" (+ 33,000 views)!

So let's experiment this during our 100 Day Reality Challenge!

Im a type 1 diabetic and would love to go back to my normal weight. Food is a big focus in my life....as I am not suposed to eat 80% of what the rest of you can. The thing is I love my sweets, and carbs....bread, pasta, rice almost anything I shouldn't eat. The saying "you don't know what you had until its gone" applys to all areas of life. Before being diagnosed I WOULD NOT eat bannanas or apple juice... now i crave them.
I found a sugar free apple juice kool-aid alternitive
and I eat bannanas because they now taste good.

Blessings to all. After the beautiful full moon a few days ago I was drawn to this website and this group. :) Look forward to chatting more and starting my first season in Jan.

Through my own spiritual path I eat a healthy vegetarian diet but can also improve upon it! :) Sometimes helping others to eat healthy you forget to do it too! Looking forward to doing a herbal detox when I begin my first season and sharing and learning more from this group.

Angelic love & light to you all,

Cat x

hello to you all ;-)
I have lost 10 kg in more than one year, but I really feel better now. I have more energy and now I like movement more than before, also to go out somewhere. It's really cool...

I have eaten more salad and vegetables, and less carbohydrate.
my tip is if you have desire to eat something sweet,
drink a buttermilk mixed with fresh berries or juice,
after a half liter you are really really full and you have done something good for your body ;-)
greets and see you soon.

I had a huge moment the other day! I decided before I went to sleep I was going to wake up and weigh 156, loosing 1 lb! I visualized me at my happy weight, and I visualized different scales all saying 156! When I woke up I weighed myself like normal (before I ate) and I DID!!!! YAY!

I love to eat healthy organic foods. I love blueberries and cherries so I should get some at the grocery store next time I go.

My favorites lately are

1) swiss card boiled with some garlic cloves and seved with olive oil, salt, and pepper.

2) Grilled salmon served on a bed of mixed baby greens with lemon juice, olive oil, salt, and pepper.

3) Ezekiel bread (Breads made from spouts rather than flour) toasted with organic butter

4) Yogurt with berries

5) Tea with stevia

Two things that really effect the way I feel about what I eat are that I believe in kindness to animals and a healthy sustainable environment. I want my food choices to be in alignment with that.

I have considered going vegetarian on occasion but am not making that decision for myself at this point. Instead I try to make the most ethical, delicious, and economical choices that are possible to me at that time. Maybe that is how the chard made it to the top of the list ;)

I think this is a great idea- watching your body to see what "good food to you" actually does to your body. I am currently in the process of losing weight. I am on a kind of homemade Mediterranean Diet as far as what I eat. I love meat and protein, so for me, the low carb type diet works. I eat lean sources of protein, vegetables, some complex carbs, and I drink half my body weight in ounces of water a day.

The other thing I do is walk 45 minutes to an hour minimum 6 days a week. I take my dog. It doesn't matter if it's first thing in the morning or late in the evening to me, as long as I do it. I don't think about it, I just do it. Now it has become something Iook forward to and can't go without. I started this 100 day challenge on 02/15/08 and made a big part of it this time my weight and my health. I have made diet and exercise a priority and it has paid off. In 2 months I have lost 25 pounds and 4 inches off my waist. My pants keep falling off. I'm gonna have to get new pants and belts soon.

The other thing that has made a huge difference is that I eat all the time. I eat 5 or more times a day, small portions, 3 meals , plus 2 or more snacks always with protein, and I drink tons of water. I let myself have my coffee for caffeine again, but I drink green tea and other teas during the day. I have cut out all sugars in my diet except for some fruit. I don't feel deprived because I eat every 2 hours up until 3 hours before bedtime.

As far as my body goes, I am hot all the time. I can feel my metabolism changing. I have tons of energy, I feel better, I sleep better, have less stress or deal with it better, and I am happier with myself. I think this is important because the way you feel about yourself affects everything you do. Just a simple thing like smiling, doing something good for another person, or going for a walk can have a huge impact on how your day is going to manifest itself. Your attitude often shapes your destiny day by day. If I don't feel like walking, my dog reminds me, and that's all I need to get up and do it. I go for my walk for today.

I have noticed that after not eating junk, processed, prepared, or fast food for a while now has made a huge difference in what my body feels and craves in terms of food. If you eat better for a short time, and you exercise, your body will tell you what it wants and what it needs. I eat lots of protein- fish, chicken, soy, or others in small amounts, vegetables, salads, olive oil, fruit, unleavened wheat bread sometimes, whole grains, legumes, nuts, brown and wild rice, lots of whey protein and water, and soy milk. I eat other things I like in small amounts to taste, but this is the bulk of what I eat now. I love it and don't feel deprived because I'm always full. If you eat every 2 hours up until 3 hours before bedtime, you will always be full and never hungry, and you will lose weight if you do some form of exercise.

I plan to lose close to 75 more pounds or more. Whatever my body wants to do. I have lost 25 pounds and 4 inches off my waist in 2 months. I know progress will be slower now, but I get excited if I lose 1-2 lbs. a week. I know it took me 10 years or more to get this way, eating tons of stuff. That was a lot of work. Compared to that, this is easy. It's a lot less work to be healthy if you just let it happen for you. I don't eat out much, I eat at home and make my meals to take with me. When I do eat out, it has to be healthy, and I eat less in terms of portions. If good food costs more, I'm gonna eat out less to save money . I think it's important to have a day off too. One day a week I don't have to walk, and I eat whatever I want. The funny thing is, I want what's good for me more often now than before. My body wants healthier food. That's a good feeling.

I started all this when I started this 100 day challenge 2 months ago. I also signed the Oprah/Bob Greene Best Life Challenge with myself at that time. I taped it to my desk so I see it every day when I wake up and go into my office. I think each person is different and must do whatever works for them. I will keep you all up to date on my progress as time goes on.

Here's to your own success and your best life.

Peace.
