The 100 Day Reality Challenge

I love blueberries, especially before working out. I was eating some carbs after work so i have the energy to work out after. I am realizing that this does not support me at all. I does not feel right when i am exercising. Blueberries makes me feel good and therefor i am full of energy and ready to workout. So this is my item #1 on my list for now and look forward exploring more!

I definately attracted this group. I wrote in my journal 2 weeks ago that I was starting an experiment where I listen to my body and eat to feel good. How amazing is this? What I have found is that every time I start a "diet", I rebel. So I am shifting my perception. And come to find out, my body has been SCREAMING at me for some time now. I am weening myself from sugar and white flour and processed foods. This is taking constant focus right now and affirmations such as, "I am releasing all resistance to change". So to answer your question about my feel good foods- I love strawberries and bananas in the morning . Also, I love lime and garlic shrimp, yummy. And I can't leave out the fit and trim pineapple pleasure smoothie from Smoothie King! Great group, Lilou!!

Nice. love that idea. where do you get the Hemp from Andie?

Wholefoods has it so does most GNCs and Vitamin Shoppees *make sure it says all natural at GNC though* My partner uses it. He's 6'3 and likes his size so he uses this shake as a meal replacement instead of junk or the bulk builder WHEY.

Smothies or should I say Blended fruit with no dairy makes me feel GREAT! Red Leaf and basil salads make me feel good. Water, I found these stickers that you put on your GLASS *NO PLASTIC it bad for us* bottles that helps you set a good intention to it, with a little fresh mint makes me feel REALLY good! I have found my body prefers organic non processed foods! ADDING FRESH LEMONS JUICE TO MY DISHES makes my body feel good. Lastly Think Bars by Thinkproducts.com saves me every morning becasue I grab it and go. *these are so good I wrote a blog about them on my website www.nlitenedsoulz.com/blog *

Thanks for this group!

I add 4 oz of unsweetened cranberry juice to a quart of water. It's refreshing and good for me!

I love to make up my own muesli for breakfast and as well as black cherries and blueberries I use pumpkin and sesame seeds and linseeds. Omega 3 rich and no fish-oil required, ideal for vegetarians/vegans. After a tip from a fellow challenger, !'m now in the habit of toasting pumpkin seeds as a snack. A little salt or added to a salad they're yummy.

They pop like popcorn - which is fun!

One of my top "feel good" foods is grilled salmon; I have it at least once a week.
One of the easiest ways that we prepare it is just with garlic, squeeze of lemon; I spritz it with olive oil, and top it with lemon pepper seasoning.
good source of the good fats; heart healthy!

My feel good foods are most types of fruit, just because they are so fresh you feel revitalized after you have eaten them, so a nice fresh fruit salad self made is what makes me feel good.

I've gone off sugar in the past, but only stayed off for a couple of months. It was really hard! I felt better, but in the end that wasn't enough to keep me eating healthy. It may be because something else in me needs to shift, something I haven't yet identified. I'd really be interested in any tips that have worked for the sugar/carb monsters!
