Hi, I am Elaine.
I am recently out of a relationship with a man after five years together. I had to let him go because although he was loving, handsome, and affectionate, he demonstrated a total lack of respect on occasions and I just don't feel safe with him any more. I don't want to go into the negative because that is NOT what this is about... The truth is that I am really enjoying being single. I think it is just the best thing ever but I still know that nothing is better than being in love-when it is right.

I am recently out of a four year live in relationship with my best friend. Unfortunately, we were not headed towards marriage and I feel grateful to have ever known our love. However, I am using this time to get to know me a little better while I wait for the perfect partner for me.

Hello!
I am a friend of Elaine's from another site.
I haven't got the book yet but am going to go to the bookstore and see if I can order it or get it tonight. I am in a very happy healing relationship at the moment. It has done wonders for me.

After this I have to go get my book of positive aspects and write. Staying in the spirit of your post. I just got out of a two year relationship, where the last year and a half of it we just needed each other. The love was gone. We were friends 3 years before that.
You know what I loved about him:
He was passionate.
He knew my body and explored it further.
He was sensitive.
He was loving at times.
He took care of my needs.
Those are the good things about him.
I have opened my heart to a new man now. I am excited to go out on a date this Saturday. :)
