The 100 Day Reality Challenge

Hello my friends: I’ve been having a bit of a problem (for lack of a better word) with the action process. I never know when to take action and I would like a little guidance in the matter. My vision for this year, which is an important part of my Big Picture or CMI, is to go back to NJ where I want to be, but to do that I need to have enough money to cover my mortgage for at least 3 month while I get started in my new environment. I’ve been visualizing and is all good but when I get an opportunity I don’t know if it’s me pushing it or if it’s an action I need to take in order to make my vision come true. For example, I got an offer of starting an Insurance company in NJ which will put me in a good position to go back even though is 6 month from now, to do that I require training which I’m willing to do, but also require to call people on the phone which is not my forte, I actually feel sick and full of excuses when I have to call somebody that I haven’t previously met. It is said that the action should feel good, should give you joy, that’s the way we know is the right thing to do, well in this case everything feels good, it’s a great opportunity, it’s my way back to where I want to be, but just to think I have to make phone calls, (they are not cold calls but to me it’s like they were), I get all uncomfortable.
I would really appreciate any thoughts in the matter; advice is always welcome or similar experiences, anything.

that feeling in your gut is guidance - not that your should or should not be doing the action that is in front of you, but that the way in which you are focused on that action is not in the direction you are wanting and therefore will not produce fruitfully in the way that you want. i would do a focus wheel whenever you are about to do that kind of action...here is a link to an awesome video that explains what that is... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VAoG9MUGaHU
so what is it that you do want? i want to successfully make calls that feel good, or, i want to interact with my job in ways that are exclusively natural to me, or, i want to participate in my job in joy, or, i want to work in a way that feels like play...etc...find what is the nugget of what is wanted within that feeling of "oh, this is not what is wanted" and then use thought bridging to get your vibration, little by little, to the ballpark of aligned energy before you do the action. you'll do great and it will all turn out the way you want it to!

This might not be the best response on this discussion for I don't tackle all of your questions. But I'll let you know two powerful Tony Robbins techniques you could use for the calls (and for other things too.) They really do work too. As long as you apply them.

The first is a method he calls "Transformational Vocabulary." Instead of saying you're "sick" about the calls, replace the word with a less intense word. Like, you are "annoyed" by the calls. Or "a little bit bothered" about making calls. Or the calls are an "inconvenience." Words can affect emotions and what you picture inside your mind. They affect what you focus on. You can use it for positive words too. You would use more intense words. So instead of saying "this is good" you would say "this is awesome" or "this is great" or "this is amazing!"

The second method is asking yourselves a serious of questions to raise your mood about something, to change the perspective of it, or to just change your focus. Ask yourself,"What do I enjoy about making these calls?" Your brain will scream "nothing" at first but ask it again until you start coming up with answers. If you have to, ask,"What could I enjoy about making the calls?" The answers might be "I get to talk to someone new who may be very interesting." I don't know what answers you'll get. You can use the questions to change your mood. "What am I enjoying about my life? What about that makes me feel great?" Etc.

I find with my clients that no matter the conscious thoughts, words.. even actions taken.. it's all about the subconscious BELIEFS>>>
You can not change the subconscious easily through the conscious mind. The subconscious is your auto pilot. Once a program is written there, like on the hard drive of your computer.. it's there until you reformat.. write over it.. change it.

By paying attention to the "gut" feelings when you think of your self as successful.. what do these say to you?

Last week I worked with a woman who said she believed she was loved and deserving of respect and success. After a few moments she came to realize that although her conscious mind said this, her true beliefs were indeed very different.
In less than an hour we had changed the programming of the subconscious mind and the change was instant and in effect today..

I would love to share this method with everyone.. it's so powerful.. so life transforming. Stop wrestling with the conscious/subconscious mind.. beliefs that keep you in frustration. There is a better, easier and more effective way to do it..
