DAY 66!!! It has been so GREAT during school holidays...I have been taking Max and Zoe to boxing and treadmill classes at Body United and they LOVE it...sometimes thier friends come too and it is so much fun...hope LOTS of Melbourne people wil join me there with the next Fitness Challenge xxxxxxx

Muscle weighs more than fat, so if you are doing strength-gaining exercises you will lose the inches around your waist but not the numbers on the scale.

And always stay positive! You didn't magically put on the unwanted weight overnight, so its not going to come off overnight. Keep going!

Rachel, as you continue to do the pushups and begin to drop weight you will notice that will begin to gain strength and energy, thus allowing you to either maintain or increase your fitness regimen.

Ready for a fantastic week! I stuck to my fitness and diet goals last week and here are my goals for this one:
5 days of working out: 4 lifting/ 5 cardio
More fiber! At least 20 grams
2 days of HIIT!!

I like my new Wii workout. I was sorta dreading it because I looked up the reviews and people hated it. They said the character didn't move with you. And so I was all ready to hate it. Guess what, the character doesn't move with you if you don't move... mmmmmmk.

I love my Wii fitness board, however, an issue I had with the program/game that came with it was that it didn't have continues activity. I was always stopping, choosing the next workout/game. WELL today I bough a step for my fitness board so it is transforms the fitness board into more of a step workout AND I bought Julian Michaels' Fitness Ultimatum 2009 (she is one of the trainers from "The Biggest Loser") . You choose your workout time, from 5-60 minutes (of continues activity) and you choose your fitness level, light,medium and hard.

I will let everyone know how it goes!

I also made it to the gym today, but didn't lift as planned. Instead, I did 70 minutes of cardio. Works for me!
