The 100 Day Reality Challenge

Hi all you wonderful peeps. I have noticed that we all talk about that one called Negative. We look away, we snub, we re-focus, we re-align, we laugh in the face of the one called Negative. So who is it? Where does it come from? How do we get this energy to not visit us, not now, not ever. Is it possible to eliminate Negative completely. I’m really getting annoyed with this energy enemy called Negative. I hear negatives name mentions in almost every blog or discussion I read. We all strive to be Positive, but somehow that which we call negative seems to creep into every crack in our lives. How do we close those cracks? I hold no invitation reading negatives name on it. Negatives name is not in my address book. So where does negative reside that it can hear when I’m becoming vulnerable and slipping away from a totally positive experience and leaving a crack open for it to slip in. Hmmm? Love and Peace and most of all Positive, JILLY

"Negative" is simply you being pinched off from who you are and your full stream of source energy and well being. There is no negative source- there is only well being and source energy- and the lack of it.

Getting annoyed is negative. So you are fueling the fire. Labeling negative as an enemy makes it worse too. Also, capitalizing the word doesn't help either. Don't give it too much power. I say view negativity in a positive way! (wtf?)

That's right. I said view negativity in a positive way! If you view negativity more positively, then it won't be as negative. So if something negative happens or you see something negative from another source, ask yourself out loud (very loud), in front of everybody, "What is positive about this?" If you lost a job you ask that and your brain might answer,"You have more free time to enjoy life or maybe you'll find a better job!" If you hear a person in a restaurant talk about how he thinks everything sucks and you ask yourself what's positive (out loud so everyone at the restaurant can hear you loud and clear) your brain might say,"At least you're not like that! You're positive and don't let the negative things you may encounter affect you like it affects the guy at the table next to you!"

Also, labeling things can intensify or help diminish their affect/effect. "I’m really getting annoyed with this energy enemy called Negative." You could reword that by saying "I’m kind of concerned, maybe a tad peeved, possibly, with this lack of positive energy I encounter occasionally."

hi well how i see it for every thing there is an opposite
for example how would we know we were happy if we only ever knew happiness?or how would we know joy if we only ever knew joy.We wouldnt ever have experienced any thing else so we would not know it as that. we would not have anything to compare it to.
so therefore we need to recognize something as being"negative" to recognize the "positive"and its all how people perceive things anyway.

From what I learned from Abraham, they said that we came to the world to experience contrast so we can create a bigger expansion of our self. We are all in this to create and remember who we really are.

The fluctuation between positive and negative perpetuates motion on all levels. I've stated it before that negativity is good because it does promote growth and expansion, as HappierthanGod refers. On the other hand, If we've had a lot of pain, especially in childhood, negativity is a tough battle that can and does creep up. We are complex creatures. All I can say is that when it does show up, do the best you can to affirm it's opposite despite the physical appearance. Not DENYING the reality of the current state but acknowledging and using the creative power of your mind to transmute the experience. It may not have INSTANT results and certainly may happen again and again. But with repetition and confidence in what the mind can do will begin to slowly or quickly change the situation. And don't be too hard on yourself if it doesn't seem to work, just do your best.

Hi Ray, Nay, Im never to hard on myself Ray. I put this discussion out there for people to answer for themselves, who and where neg comes from. I think really it comes from many different places for many different individuals ...ie your comment on childhood for example. Some would argue that we cant have Positive without that which we call Negative. Yes we are all very complex...I agree...we are all a different experience...JILLY
