The 100 Day Reality Challenge

Hi all,

I've been reading up a lot on love and its effects on people. The old adage states "love can move mountains", spiritual gurus says love is the highest vibration there is. What my question is - can some one whose at a low vibration feel the love power you send them? If they're so full of hate, destruction and bad intention, will it eventually be broken down by this unconditional pure energy that's been sent to them?

thanks createfate for your reply, i just spoke to an aunt of mine and she said that somehow that person will sense the vibe I will send them and respond. Well, I might as well try, I've got nothing to lose x

A couple of years ago while on retreat, I became quite involved in the practice of 'Loving Kindness', for myself, others (including so-called enemies) and the world in general. The response I got from people I came in to contact with afterwards was incredible. Being so open gave others permission to be open, and even people who I would never have imagined warming towards me did so. I can see that having genuine love and compassion for myself and others has a tremendous impact on the heart and even if our thoughts, words and actions are hate filled, something within us eventually shifts. For me there is no doubt that love has tremendous power and can and will "move mountains".

Hey co-creators, thank you so much for you replies, they're all so beautiful. I've thoroughly enjoyed reading them greatly.

In fact I have a story to tell you guys: last night I found a lovely Lord Shiva mantra, (if any of you want it I will post it on the forum later on) which is believed to be really powerful. I did it last night around 1.30am for about half an hour, visualising a person whom I wanted to send unconditional love to. I imagined them sitting in front of me, holding my hands (and i really felt it) sending unconditional love straight into their heart. I can't understand it, but I felt this surge of emotion go through me and my eyes started to prick and before I knew it I was crying. Thing is, its hard sending love this person whose caused damage in my life, but it felt great at the same time. Slowly by slowly, I'm learning to send it.

Lynne, thank you so much for your post. Btw, did the people who you sent love to, speak to you or get in touch with you somehow? Do you think they acknowledged it? xx
