Seeing 1111 lately? Whats your hypothesis on this phenomona?

I have been seeing 11:11 many times over the past two weeks and today I have seen it three times already... I would love to hear peoples thoughts on this.

I too keep seeing 1's of lately.

Doreen Virtue - has a book about numbers and the meanings & whenever I tend to notice a pattern of numbers on a frequent basis I go look her up online and see what she has to say.

Heres what she says for 1's:

111 - Monitor your thoughts carefully, and be sure to only think about what you want, not what you don't want. This sequence is a sign that there is a gate of opportunity opening up, and your thoughts are manifesting into form at record speeds. The 111 is like the bright light of a flash bulb. It means the universe has just taken a snapshot of your thoughts and is manifesting them into form. Are you pleased with what thoughts the universe has captured? If not, correct your thoughts (ask your angels to help you with this if you have difficulty controlling or monitoring your thoughts).

I have been curious about this 111 thing you all are talking about. So I sat back and waited for the comments to roll in, so I could form an opinion.
Regarding KAY's comment posted above. I say UT OH...I see a RED Flag. If we are in the practice to abide by the Law of Attraction, I see that you should stay away from readings of any kind. If I were to give stock to the sequence of numbers that come up in my life I would be in complete chaos. WOW, can you imagine how confused in the course of a day one could get. Our thoughts would run a-muck. In this particular case to monitor my thoughts carefully equals seeing 111. Heck are we not to monitor our thought regardless of the 111 sequence. One would also expect that if they did not see the 111 sequence that would mean that a gate was not going to open up. Good Grief. I'm afraid to disappoint you all, but the Universe has taken a snapshot of all your thoughts and not just the few governed by the 111 sequence.
I do want to point out as I appreciate Kay in posting this. It gave me a forum to knock the theroy down to its knees. About the Videos that Createfate talks of...I cant find the ones she is talking of. Maybe she can post a link or two for Kay and I to evaluate...JILLY

Well... I said vids. by mistake, I mean Doreen Virtues work. You can just google her and pull up her information on number sequences.. IF you read them you will see that they are very positive and so usually its just our angels/guides letting us know we are doing great with our thinking or that we are off track.. YES Jilly this is a personal belief thing... I didnt buy it either but the more I see it the more I am amazed...I do think there is someone trying to help and communicate with me.... Yes.. you could say that its just your mind producing these thoughts through LOA but I think its more than that....and No there is no hard science behind it!!!!lollllllll I think Jilly, you may be interpreting these number sequences as black and white and the interpretation probably includes gray areas as well....I know a guy on Youtube : Divine Messages and he talks to angels...(It seems out there but so does alot of this stuff in mainstream culture) By being on this site we (at least I do)are saying that we honor the spiritual part of ourselves(the part connected to a higher source) and the angels are a component that some believe in... Here is my two cents in this discussion.
Oh and the 111 of Doreen Virtue is different or contains a different message than the 1111 phenomona that people all over the world are "seeing"
I think its safe to say that all of this material takes alot of experience and wisdom to interpret!!!

Yes... Kay I am aware of Doreen V. 111 and numbers stuff... Thanks... I mean a different phenomona that people are talking about , you can youtube1111 and there are tons of vids...saying different things..Just wondering about cocreators take on it!!!

i think, basically, it is an awakening . . . an aligning. i too see 11:11 . . . there is a lot of info about it on the web. it is a good thing! to me it is a symbol that i am in alignment and in the flow or a synchronicity . . .

WEll, again I will say it. If this is the case, this represents one thinking outside ones self. Not a good thing. We need to focus and not seperate ourself from the source. This way of thinking is a separation. Anything that is outside of oneself that is refocusing (our thoughts)what is on the inside of us...that is a separation.

I read recently that numerologists consider the time 11/11/2009 to 11/29/2009 to be a time of spiritual awakening on a mass scale... 11 is a master number as you probably know, maybe it is recurring to you now because we are in the middle of this time of awakening? I don't know, but it's happening to me too, and I had another friend ask about it a few days ago! Weird :)
