Is THE LAW OF ATTRACTION/ The Secret Acceptable in Islam?????

Hi I have a question I`d like it answered by Muslims and Imams, I`d assume that The Law of Attraction is acceptable by saying "The Universe" I could replace it with "Allah,God" is it bad if I say the Universes? I am a practicing Muslim. I asked my mother and she assumes but isn't sure, I love The LOA it has helped me so much and has made me aware, also is Intuition and Psychic,Riki,Yoga, and Meditation bad? I don't think they are but yet again I am not sure..

I appreciate all of your answers

God Bless

ok. I am not a muslim. im not religious period. but I am confident that the universe & your allah are the same thing.
Thank you Jenna I think so too, I`m 15 so I`m still trying to make sense of the world but I think the universe and god are the same.

Appreciate your reply
The law of attraction is not a religious thing. It's a law like the law of gravity. People of all faiths believe in the law of gravity keeping our planet in orbit and our feet planted firmly on the ground. Things like yoga and meditation may be perceived as maybe a threat to your Muslim belief as they are based in Hinduism and Buddhism by people who are very religious. If your mother does not have a problem with you meditating or practicing yoga then why not do it? So many people use these practices for the beneficial reasons, not for any kind of religious reasons. Remember too, spirituality is a personal and private thing. Your dreams, goal setting, and wishes are personal to you, and anyone who might not understand why you choose to so something could be opposed to it and seek to squash your dreams based off of their own beliefs. So, keep them close to your heart and protect your dreams! :-)

Also a lot of the time "the universe" so as to not put any one religions face of God/Allah/SupremeBeing etc. to these teachings. The law of attraction just is. The things we are taught are just ways to connect us with our highest self.
thanks that was a detailed reply, I love yoga and meditation and I wouldn't feel the same if I didn't do them. I have dreams and I know that my father and sibling, and sometimes my mom would crush them and say other wise why they think it's not right or wrong or whatever. My dad thinks yoga and meditation is "bad" because he's Indian but Muslim so yeah but I just don't do it in front of him. I also like the idea of a higher self.

Again thanks for the reply

have a blesses day =)
Sorry if this sounds harsh, but i want to give you my honest opinion. Your parents are naive I think, and they are wrong in crushing your dreams and aspirations.. Let no one tell you what you can and cannot do. It is your life and the reason you were born in this earth is so that you can experience it. Its actually a pity that so many people decide to have children without knowing why. They think its fashionable or something.. Just because everybody else is doing this, ok so let's do it. But they forget the big picture. Can you imagine what a great place this world would be if noone places restrictions on others (as long as the behaviour was safe for everybody)..Brainwashing someone this way by stopping or discouraging them against their calling is a sin. And more so when they are your own child.
And if you let people dictate what you should do and what you shouldnt do, then you are giving away your power. I see that you mentioned that you are 15, consider this an amazing thing that you have been exposed to this phenomenon of the law of attraction at such as early age. You can do majic with your life. Im twice your age and i came to know about this about a year back and I know my life will be getting better and better and that i will be able to get everything that i want. And this feeling and this power is not for a few priveleged people. Its for everybody. Ultimately you will give this power away if you listen to other people.

All in all, I dont understand religions, and your story sounds very sad and pathetic. Not your fault , but your parent's i think or whoever is discouraging you. Its perhaps not their fault either. They are probably uneducated in these matters...they dont know how to raise their kids.. & im sure there are many many examples like this. Its sad for the whole world. But this can change. All this probably sounds harsh, but sometimes truth is bitter. but its a lot better than false reassurances. I think what you should do, is meditate- you dont need to tell anyone about it, you can do it in private. when you meditate you get answers to your own questions. and then throughout your life remember that you can get whatever you want and noone has the right to tell you otherwise. There are ways to get around these kinds of individuals. Instead of protesting, just walk away...As soon as your independent, leave and go live your life...Do live your life, and pay them back for the good that they did, but dont let them take your power away. Dont let anyone take your power away. Might help if you can expose yourself to other kinds of openminded people in this world. I think movies and such influence people heavily. You watch a movie where a woman is sacrificing her life to please her husband..somehow you think thats how it should be. I strongly feel about these things. Sometimes i wonder if stupid movies (which were made for entertainment) shape the destiny of a whole country..LOL...DOesnt apply to the US though..there are too many varieties in hollywood. but anyway my point is that I think you need to see that other liberal people exist in this world. Who are not judgemental and who believe in abundance of all kinds, not sacrifice.
thanks Jenna for the reply
