The 100 Day Reality Challenge

in "the secret" book, i read that if you want to lose weight then you have to act like u already in your perfect shape...and that food does not, and cannot make you fat unless you think it could...
and i also read some stories about people who did that on thesecret.tv
on the other hand, when i go to other sources, and look for information about this subject, they all mention healthy eating and exercising....so it contradicts all the things i've read in the secret book and the shared stories on the website.

can somone please explain to me this whole issue?
and share some success stories.
i'll be grateful :)

thanks.

I think that everyone is different and while one method may work for others it may not work for you. If I was in your situation I would start by exploring what it is that I was really seeking. Am I just looking for a certain number on a scale, or am I looking for health and vitality, or am i looking to attract a mate, or am I looking for self confidence in my body, or am I looking for happiness? I ask that because most people are less motivated by the number on the scale, and more motivated by what the promise of that number may bring to their lives. Once I figured out the why it is that I'm looking for in a certain body I'd start to dig deeper to more questions until I get to the root of what it is that I want and I would start visualizing that and me in the body that I imagine for myself and being happy all at the same time. While I don't have personal weight loss goals I think the key would be being loving and appreciative of your body throughout your entire weight loss journey, which may possibly be the most difficult aspect of it all. If you constantly place focus on what you don't like about you body, I highly doubt that anything would change. In my experiences with the law of attraction and trying to appreciate my life more, I seek things that make me feel good and happy and for me natural and clean foods feel really good to my body and I'm more motivated to be active, so I naturally lose weight without even thinking about it. I hope that this is helpful and good luck to you in finding whatever it is that works for you. Peace and Blessings.

Keep visualizing and leave the rest up to your higher self. If you visualize your beautiful body, and desire it, and focus upon it, you will begin to create pathways from where you are now to where you will be. As you start to evolve and change in reality, you will change, abandoning the habits and attitudes of the former self and developing those of a healthy person.

Some of those people live joyously, on purpose, and by choice eat vegan vegetarian and do yoga. These people look fabulous but not because they force themselves to do those things, because they are those people,

So, good luck to all of us on getting there.

It all has to do with your thinking. For my experience, I have to say the LOA works for me for losing weight. What I do is everytime I eat, I look at my plate (did not change anything) and I tell myself "this stuff is making me lose weight" and I do that for 2-3 bites and forget about it. And, I am not as obsessed with my weight anymore and when I dress up, I don't see myself is obese as I really am. I decided in my heart, to let go of my bad feelings towards my weight. Guess what? In 2 weeks, I lost 3 pounds!

Try it, it's worth it. Really, it can't hurt you. :)

Love Always

I think the point with the secret and weight management is figuring out what it is you want.
Okay so now you know what you want (it's got to be a positive goal stated in the present as if you already have it) and now visualize it everyday and how it feels. My goal was "I weigh XXX pounds and I feel amazing!"
It can NOT be I want to lose 20 pounds - subconsciously your mind feels like it's losing something, so then once it's lost it tries to find it again (weight goes right back on!)

It has to be a believable goal too!!

I took a healthy woman's picture, printed it out in color. Put my head on her body! It's quite incredible what it can do to see "yourself" on your vision board each day as an athletic woman with a great muscular healthy body!!!

I also have this list on my work computer:
I don't diet
I keep track of my weight regularly
I don't eat for emotional reasons
I stop eating when I'm full
I don't surround myself with temptation
I allow myself treats
I always eat breakfast
I move, stand & fidget more
I never skip meals

And it's really helped me own those things and be healthy because I am.

This post is from this summer, but still very relevant. I completely agree, Sierra, and am thrilled that I read this tonight. It helps me shift into a new story that is true right now. Thanks for sharing it with us.
