The 100 Day Reality Challenge

I'm relatively new to this site. Some of you are very experienced manifestors and some are also new. I want to gauge 2 things from people's experience who have experimented with the 100 day seasons:

1) Has the LoA worked for you? I mean clearly, evidently and tangibly worked for you?
2) What has been your most effective practice?

Thanks in advance for sharing your thoughts.

Love

Hello, This is an excellent survey. LOA has worked for me many times.

I think the most evident & tangible thing that happen regarding LOA is when I had trouble at work. I perform my work to the best of my abilities and am very proud and accomplished in my field. In 2002, I switched companies and my new coworkers decided they didn't like me. There was so much politics and jealousy that it became unbearable to work. I tried to switch companies again, but I was 'blacklisted' from applying to other companies. Since, I had to stay at the current company, I manifested and imagined working with supportive coworkers and (since I was really angry) imagined I was surrounded by a force-field where any negativities directed at me was redirected to the sender 1000x in strength I know, I shouldn't have done that.

On the last weekend of June 2002, 3 coworkers stubbed their toe at home, so hard that they had to go to ER. They came to work in crutches on Monday. They joked that they should form a 'bashed toe club.' I had also told my situation to my brother who leaves in Seattle, who I guess told his SIL. She is in the same industry as I am, so I guess she felt I was a trouble maker because she also stubbed her toe and went to the ER that weekend, too! When I told my brother about the 3 coworkers, he asked that I keep it LOCAL. I didn't understand what he meant, until we visited him and his MIL told me what happen to the SIL.

I am still working for this company (2009) and I have wonderful coworkers and projects. All the coworkers who stubbed their toes moved on or leave me alone. I think LOA was working it's best for me.

Thanks mybeautifulplace. That's a great example! Are you saying "visualisation" works best for you? Any particular ways you go about visualising that you feel work wonders?

Thanks

Hi Stringz,

I would suggest reading as much books as possible and try everything to figure what works best for you. You can start at the book discussion at this site. People are uploading entire books there!

During that terrible time in 2002, I was reading books by Sylvia Brown and used her 'Tools for Life' audio cassette tapes to help me mediate/visualize my problems away. The tapes had a mediation to met your spirit guide, which crept me out when I tried it. It is actually really similar to Lilou's beach mediation. I haven't met my spirit guide, yet. I'm not sure why I'm resisting meeting him, but I'm sure I'll eventually met him soon.

I wish you all the best with LOA!

Hi Stringz - I appreciate you answering a couple of my blogs, so felt drawn to reply to this one:

1: The LOA used to work for me in the past, but very negatively. Once I took 100% responsibility for my own life and realised my thoughts were actually creating my future, had a lot of changes to make.

I actually got my current job through LOA ( although at that time I didn't realise what it was!) Not to say I don't work extremely hard at my profession and prepare well, but in addition to this did lots of positive affirmations beforehand, as I was nervous - it just flowed like nothing else. At the time I hadnt yet found out about the LOA, I only knew about positive affirmations, but believe it to be a "transition" period towards increasing awareness.
I lost my mother not long after and have little family at all left now.
The transition that I feel was really kind of "saying goodbye" to your human family and being awakened to a universal family - the universe etc - saying "look we know you're going through a hard time, but look really you are part of everything and you are never alone".
Going back to my "family of origin" to look after my mum, as she died of cancer was one of the hardest things I've done, not only for the obvious reasons, but also because my brother tried to abuse me when I was young and I had always cut him off from me and not being believed by my family, had created a mistrust of conventional family life.
I felt lousy having to bear his company, allowing him to be there for my mum as her son and struggling with forgiveness myself. I put myself aside, gritted my teeth and was there for my mum.

Anyway since then, every week, month etc seems to wake me up to something new, metaphysically and believe me I am the most skeptical, grounded, cynical person you can get.
The truth is in the pudding ,as they say - when I've put it to the test, it has manifested great things for me - however I think it relates to your inner values too.
For example, I love beauty.art etc but not particularly "material" person in the sense I have to have the latest car etc ( alhtough theres nothing whatsoever wrong with that in fact we all deserve "the best" but this is what Im saying
for me "the best" is - a beautiful home of my own ( im single and support myself totally)
a lovely garden, that attracts more nature and thus feeds back to the earth - which I love
a healing of part hurts and especially healing of inner child issues from my past
the beauty of the countryside around me where I live
great fashion, clothes, shoes!!
so abundance comes in many forms, I think Im attempting to say ( its late here!!)

I think most effective practise is meditation, positive affirmation ( esp affirmations written down for me)
artwork, writing

Hey Claire, thanks for your reply.

You've obviously come through a lot and it's nice to see how positive you still are!

I think affirmations have worked a lot for me too, combined with meditation and visualisation. But I get very confused how to find the "right affirmation". How you do you know what to affirm? I've not written them down. Do you write it out repetitvely - almost as if you're doing "lines"? Or say it over and over for a while. Artwork is interesting. I presume that's linked to visualisation. Yes I have to agree with writing. I'm a very literal person so have felt a sense of comfort and focus from writing out my thoughts.

Cool - I'm loving the idea of universal family... that's such a beautiful vision! One I think is probably in tune with how things should be and how people should think!!
