Hi Lynne, when we allow we stop resisting,we release and let go of feeling the lack of what we desire. I think of what I do have...I take the postive aspects of something else that makes me feel good. When I feel good more things come to me.

Thank you for those reminders Meg, it's good to hear that part of allowing is letting go of resistance as I seem to be experiencing some of that at the moment. And it's true that when I feel good more things come to me... or into my life, many beautiful manifestations to you!

When you meditate,your thoughts are silent,there's no resistant in you- you are in a state of allowing.
When you're doing your affirmations-you are allowing.
When you're doing your visualization-you are allowing.
When you're happy you are in a state of allowing.

When you're sad,feel that feeling complite,be clear sadness for a while,then sadness or anger will go away,it will no bother you anymore,and you will again be in a state of allowing.

In Abraham's teachings it's all explained very well.Do you need books maybe in PDF format?

I agree with the above. The only comment I would like to make to the statement from Stefani (about being in a state of allowing while doing your affirmations and visualisations) is that it depends on how these affirmations and visualisations make you feel. If they tie a knot in your stomach because they confront you with the lack of something you would want, than they don't work. Allowing always feel good. It doesn't necessarily mean that you should be joyious all the time. When you are way down on the emotional scale, try to find a thought that makes you feel a little better and that gives you a feeling of relief. When you are angry with someone and you think about how you would like to punch them on the nose, you go from anger to revenge, which is one way up the scale :-)

If you are not familiar with the teachings of Abraham I would highly recommend that you get to know their books and DVD's. It will change your life forever!!!

Affirmations are the same thing as suggestions(in psychology),so it's not nessesearly to feel good.if you repeat every day some phrase for instance 20 times - you are doing auto-hypnosis(focusing on just one thought),and after some time it will get in your subconsciousness mind,and when it gets you will manifest that specific peculiarity or you will mechanically solve the problem or attain your goal.

I think I'm just "waking up " to this myself.
I had an experience of this tonight. I think it is similar to "inspiration"?
I was watching a TV programme about poetry, etc - felt inspired - which kind of had a "aha" moment inside
and wrote another poem.
This has somehow coincided with other things and a long term goal/intent of getting a book of poetry completed.
When I am in my professional role (teacher). I rarely allow myself the time to be creative; "Im too busy", i don't have time for that" etc - all negative affirmations, of course!
I have started "allowing" myself to be a human being as well and as a human being - expressing creatively

When you KNOW and expect that your desire/intention is manifesting, you're allowing. How do you KNOW? You believe it and trust it. Not hoping it is. Knowing that it is! What you see on the outer part of you (the physical world) may not show any signs, yet... As far as you see from your eyes, that is. The signs are there even if you don't see 'em. You see, feel, and know in the inside that it is indeed manifesting. Also, you know the outside reality you know of IS a part of you as well. The outer part of you just has a "slower reaction time" with presenting what is already manifested. Of course you don't know how it's unfolding on the outside, you just know that it is! From the inside of you. So since you know it has manifested, relax and just allow it to finish its work. Do not disturb the process. Birds lay eggs. Do you break open the shells and say, "Hatch, you damn birds!" No way! You don't disturb the nest. You already know they are developing inside the egg and they will hatch when it is the right time. Same with manifesting except if you break an egg, it's doomed. If you disturb your process of manifesting in some way you just delay the speed of it in most cases. So, now that you know it's already manifested, allow it to develop and hatch like an egg does. Be/feel excited in the process of allowing it to happen too! When you think about the intention in the middle of the day at work, you know what the deal is.
