How about that approaching 2012, eh? I don't think it's the end of the world, of course, but I do know that there are some tough times ahead. Of course I run the risk of being labeled negative in my outlook but my aim is to provide what I believe to be truth based on my intuition and reason. And in reality, some things aren't so pretty.

Now, those of us who are mindful and are taking on the subtle-yet-potent method of creating change cannot help but notice a quickening in creation through thought. It's no surprise to see this phenomenon coincide with the approach of 2012. We can only expect this to increase in potency and quickness as we go. Mental image + emotion + belief = physical result. This is law and it’s not reserved to the people who are using it consciously and for constructive use.

For example, consider how many BELIEVE with EMOTION the IMAGES found in Revelations of the New Testament. There are millions and millions of people with this singular idea. ALL that energy pumped into that one image. We can’t believe that their focus won’t produce results reflecting their expectation. If we are to believe in these principles (and how can we not after we see them work over and over??), we have to realize that everyone is contributing.

I’m not glooming and dooming over here, just pointing out that we’re in for quite a ride and it’s absolutely vital that we continue with this work.

Ahh the good ole 2012 discussion. This is how I have come to think of this shift in consciousness and to be honest I really think that it is going to be different for every single person. I agree with you in that I believe that this shift is going to be directly related to our thoughts but you'll see in any text regarding the law of attraction that a positive thought is many times more powerful than a negative one.

You'll also notice that as the world is gaining momentum and thoughts are becoming things more and more rapidly that the world is increasing in vibration. Since joy, happiness and well-being all produce rapid vibrations one could argue that the world is becoming happier. With that in mind the most logical step that we could possibly take would be to mirror the worlds actions and increase in vibration along with it.

It's possible that this could all lead to cataclysmic events. It's possible that it could all lead to 1000 years of peace as is written in the bible. The one thing that I am 100% certain of is that thoughts become things and the Universe is always conspiring to bring us our joy. Whatever happens will only effect you based on what you believe. We will possibly never predict what will happen and it's a possibility that nothing will happen. It's important to keep in mind what is happening now and how we can be a part of this magical time in the history of the Universe.

My world will be filled with beautiful creatures, constant song, subtle yet divine scents, breathtaking views, wondrous mountains, peaceful forests and the people that want similar things but also bring in contrast so we can keep creating our "perfect" world.

My world is already here.

Very well stated, Chris. I tend to agree with most, not all of course, of what's found in law of attraction literature. I just like playing the devil's advocate. You obviously take what you learn, incorporate it into your life, determine whether it's useful and/or beneficial and express your understanding of it wonderfully. In BOTA, we recite what's called The Pattern on the Trestleboard, and the second statement is, "I am a center of expression for the Primal-Will-to-Good, which eternally creates and sustains the Universe." There are 10 other nifty statements to the Pattern but I don't feel like typing them all out at the moment. The one mentioned is because it matches the "Universe conspiring to bring us joy..." statement.
