I started internet dating 6yrs ago after being married for 8yrs, divorced for 5. I was skeptical at first but a dear friend of mine walked me through it. She found her husband online and was very positive about it. Once you make initial contact, you want to ask enought questions that will make you feel at ease giving your number out. Once you exchange numbers, make sure to pay attention to your intuition or gut feeling...you can sense if someone is nuts. Make sure to meet in a public place, never ever let him pick you up from your place until you feel totally comfortable.

I have met a lot of great people online. I don't have any horror stories. I have had a couple love connections that didn't work out for one reason or another and I'm still friends with both of them.

Internet dating is pretty much the way its done nowadays. Always take precaution...I always say...a stranger is a stranger is a stranger no matter where you meet them.

Best Wishes!

I think its so silly to have that put you off... In fact if I found someone from the internet I'd shout it from the roof tops. To find love is grand, to express how much you love someone is a great gift.

People meet people in bars, clubs, coffee houses, and all over at random... and perhaps while under influences.... When you arrange meetings from offline you get to develop a level of intimacy before the date and it has room to grow and expand because you both already have common ground.

Although I have yet to have luck in this department I think it's an amazing way... (and I attribute to my lack of luck to a lack of focus) When we focus on we want... us co-creators tend to get it ♥♥♥

I am thinking about doing internet dating in the second half of this challenge. It is nice to read the success stories from all who have posted here. I know that lots of people meet through internet dating and I think that they have a big advantage when they find someone with whom they have chemistry because they are on the same page, looking for a person to date.

I will focus on my man magnetizing powers in the first half of the challenge and when I am ready I'll sign up for one of these services. It could be fun.

As an aside to the internet dating, i met someone over the weekend, we got on well - hes nice looking, tall, well dressed. He gave me his card cos my phone wasnt working. I emailed him on monday and..nothing. Even though i wasnt sure about him (whether I wanted to email him or not) im strangely gutted! typical. ;)

Awwwwwwww.........so sorry, Belle! You know, there are always a few rotten apples in the barrell. Just toss him out and keep going. DO NOT take this personally! Since dating seems to take going through a certain number of men, this means you are that much closer to Mr. Wonderful! YAY!!

I just dont meet a lot of people i like, he seemed really keen - my friends thought so too - Im still thinking maybe hes busy, maybe he hasnt seen the email. but the likelihood is its exactly how its being played out. been single for SO long, I suppose i reek of desperation, even though i try not to!!lol.

I met my husband on match.com and he is without a doubt the love of my life. My true soulmate. But, before you make a decision, give some thought into this quote from Abraham,
"Make a decision and then make it right. There are no wrong decisions. You could go this way or that way, and either way will eventuallly get you to where you want to be. But in the moment you start complimenting yourself on the decision you made, in that moment you some back into vibrational alignment with who you really are."
So on-line dating or not, you can't make a decision and then question whether or not you made the rcorrect one. You did!! Either way!
