God and LOA.

This is the 8th day of Season 1 for me and I am in a dilemma. When I pray to a GOD (the one I believe in) my desires manifest immediately. This is the same as the LOA, because with GOD I do not have a shadow of a doubt on the receiving probability.

But since I have a list of intentions which state some frivolous desires, would it be right for me to ask GOD to grant them. Please help, I have been mulling over this for quite a while.

Hi Smita!
It's a great simily you have drawn between God and the LOA.I believe yes it will be right for you to ask whatever you want from God.After all God loves us unconditionally with all our faults and shortcomings as well.If we will not ask our father in heaven for what we need who else will we walk up to?Whether it will be wrong or right on your behalf to do so,leave the judgement on him.If you are sure that it is something that makes you happy and resonates with who you are then go for it.

I have just started with the challenge so it's going to take some time for my desires to be manifested.And I do have 98 days to go:) But I have a firm belief that I will get what I want. Believing that you are worthy of what you ask is extremely important.Since I've just started ,I check myself if I feel that I am allowing negative feelings to enter my mind.

I am also trying to get hold of as many good books as I can.Try doing it ,it should help you.The more you know about the LOA and how it has worked miracles in the lives of people ,the more you'll be able to believe in it and move on to the third stage of receiving.

All the cocreators are extremely helpful.SO feel free to ask about anything else.

Thank you Christine. I am not quite getting the process of LOA right and I have so many questions in my head, that it is hindering the Ask, Believe, Receive process.

Well, maybe it's the process that's at fault here :P

Try this one
1) Ask
2) It's DONE! The Universe says "Yes" (EVERY time!)
3) Allow. You align yourself with your desire and let it in.

Maybe not quite so snappy as "Ask, Believe, Receive" but in my experience a lot more accurate lol.

I don't believe the Universe judges any of our desires in any way. If we ask for it and allow it, we get it. Who is to say that something you want is "frivolous"? If it brings you joy, you have an absolute right to ask for it and to expect it.

The Universe doesn't grant "favours". It gives you exactly what you ask for Iwhether you want it or not! lol)

I believe that God is this creative force and therefore does not judge things as good/bad, necessary/frivolous. I believe it is often easier to ask God for a parking space and have it manifest than asking for a relationship, new job or a car because there is more attachment to the latter as well as typically unconscious beliefs of not deserving them, too much to ask for, etc.

For me God is the Universal Laws and Principles that govern the Universe. I think that many people have resistance to a "religious" conversation becasue of past experiences so using the "Law of Attraction" allows them to release the dogma and past blocks that the word "God" brings up. Using the Law of Attraction is creating a spiritually connected population of huanity that is in tune with a power greater than themselves and learning to cocreate with it. A lot of people that don't have fearful and negative experiences from their past call this power God. I believe we can call it whatever we like...it is always there and we are either consciously or unconsciouly cocreating what we want or don't want :-)

Hi Miranda,

This 100 day challenge is a real challenge for me. More than believing and receiving , I am clearing and trying to allow.

Clearing my mind of perceptions, doubts and negativity. I am unsure about everything associated with the LOA. This 100 day challenge has a long learning curve associated with it for me.

Hi Smita,

My experience of God is of one of abundance. God was not stingy or meeting fiscal requirements when God made millions of different flowers varying in color, size, scent etc. How many billions of stars are there, or species of fish are there? Why would a God who wants to lavish you with so much beauty and variety not want you to have things in your life that make your heart sing? As long as it doesn't hurt or disempower anyone else, I feel that God delights in us having our desires met.

I totally agree that we live in an abundant universe where nothing is judged "good" or "bad" except by us. And even our perception of those will change according to the circumstances.

I also believe that we can't create in another's experience, so nothing we do can ever hurt or disempower anyone else. If each of us is totally responsible for everything in our experience, we don't have to try and second-guess how other people might react to what we do; they will only experience US as long as our vibrations are in alignment.

We are free to create whatever we want in our experience! We are FREE! :D
