The 100 Day Reality Challenge

I was wondering if anyone has read this and if it is worthwhile?

Hi Chenelle,

i listen to the first half of the audio-version. I like this guy and his radical approach to question assumption that everybody holds to be true e.g. 50h+ necessary for success & money. It more for entrepreneurs and teaches the 80-20 rule, so focus on the key 20% and delegate or automate the rest. He has a lot outsourced to India, for a cheap loan. Its a nice read, his life story is very inspiring. I give it 4 of 5 stars.

Greeting from germany
Thomas
PS. Very nice, we started on the same day our journey here. ;-)

I listed to the audio CDs of the book. I found his information to be extremely helpful. He lists TONS of actual resources for creating new wealth in your ventures. He is very clear about the most effective path to creating income that can become (more or less) passive income for you. Certainly supports the theme of multiple streams of income. Also supports the process of truly working globally and in mobile mode. I am going to put some of his recommendations into action - I do think it is something that you are better prepared for if you have already been reading and learning from masters like Robert Kiyosaki and Donald Trump, etc.
I DO think it is worth the time, although CDs are sometimes easier than books because you can listen on the run - not having to pay as much attention to his own life story stuff, but books are sometimes better for the resources listed. All resources on the CD are said outloud and require you to write them down (as opposed to photocopying the page).

Good luck,
Robin

I haven't read it but I hope its true...

I get a little confused when Abraham says that no physical action is required to manifest whereas most success teachers i.e. Brian Tracy say that hard work is still required.

It is a bit confusing, but what I get from it is that as we put what we want out to the Universe, we need to believe it as it is so, be patient and let go of it. The opportunities will come, and when they do, we have to act on them. We can't just sit back and expect everything to fall into our lap without putting forth some sort of effort. It is a combination of thoughts, words and action on our part. Does that make any sense?

That makes perfect sense.

I guess the point of LOA is to not kill yourself working 12 hours a day. Let the Universe do most of the work for you :-)

Abraham doesn't say that NO physical action is required, only inspired action. Action that feels downstream is rewarding, upstream action is contra-productive.

I thought this was an excellent book! It really sparked someththing in me that inspired me to analyize the type of lifestyle I want to pursue. It makes it feel like you can really accomplish amaysing things. It has also led me to find more info that will get me closer to my goals.

i liked the book, very easy, quick read with real life application. It made me reevaluate the necessity of living a traditional life: owning my own home, kids schooling and activities, yard work, house work, a traditional vacation to Hawaii once a year etc. Life can be lived so many ways and you just really need to decide what you want out of it.

I loved this book! Depending on your industry, it may not be feasible to "rent out" for your duties to a third party, but I definitely think that getting your work done in concise manner is do-able.

I try to work from home at least 2 days per week. This save on my commuting cost, helps the environment, and improve my social life because I'm not beat by the evening. I'm naturally a morning person, so I get more done at home than by noon than when I have to commute (over 1 1/2 hour) into the office.

Laptops, wireless network connections, pda, conference call, and web cast all make it easy to work from any location.

I also admired how he "reinvented' himself by learning a new skill/talent!

I read it, I was excited about it, I've made plans to start a little business using some of his tips, but I haven't followed through yet. Ask me again this time next year. If nothing else he's an entertaining writer and what he has to say makes a lot of sense, or as I heard a selfmade millionaire say once to his mentee "Inspiration my boy, not perspiration!".
