Hi Cutie. Those are the steps. Ask, Believe, Receive. Keep your emotions attached to the goal. Get excited about the goal because thoughts become things which is why visualization is so important. Have some fun with it, maybe create a vision board, box, or video. And surround yourself with like minded, positive people just like in this community.
Another saying I like is "Be, Do, Have". Be the person you want to be today, Do the actions that person would do, and Have all the rewards. For example, most people might say "When I have that new car, I will get to work on time, and then I will be a good employee." Instead they could say, "I will be a good employee, I will show up on time, then I will earn that new car." It fits with anything. "I Love myself, therfore I eat right and exercise, therfore I lost 20 pounds and have a slammin body." The attitude of loving yourself 1st and foremost with positive visualization will start the LOA train in motion, the actions of eating right and exerciseing reinforces to your subconcious that you believe and are ready to receive. It's a beutiful thing. :)
Have an awesome day. Wholeheartedly GiGi

Hi Cutie! Welcome to the 100 day challenge. Your on the right track with the steps to manifesting your goals. I finished my second season yesterday and start my third on the 1st of October. For me I like to work on my goals everyday even if that is just visualising. I blog everyday to keep on track and the support on this site is amazing.
I am sure you will do really well on your challenge:)

I have lost 5lbs during this October and I haven't done anything dramatic. I give myself more love and everytime i go by a mirror i look and i appreciate my body and myself :)) In the past, when i had weight loss on my Number One Priority list and had a trainer and trained with him sometimes 6x a week, and watched what i ate, and counted calories, and looked at myself in the mirror and only noticed the flaws, i noticed that when i did loose weight i was never satisfied. Because there was always some where else on my body that was still a problem. In this present moment, I don't have weight loss on my MUST DO list...I have noticed that once i try to control the method of weight loss it somehow doesn't work, becuase i guess i bring a lot of resistance... Just be easy about it i think (Abe). Love yourself more (Abe). Write the things you love about your body (Abe)... and eventually the weight will come off on its own! :)

Hey!
Just started yesterday-two of the same goals-what are you doing to reach your goals-exercize, better eating habits-maybe you can add a body type you like to your vision board------isn't this exciting!!!!

While I am generally skeptical to the Law of Attraction (as it is presented by "The Secret" and in some of Esther Hicks' youtube videos), I do believe that imagining yourself as more powerful and more healthier creates a great mindset for weight loss. While I'm not looking to lose much fat as such, I am hoping that I will become leaner and enjoy exercise more.

I found the following podcast by Steve Pavlina to be a great help:

I have a tip that has been making me very happy lately!

My number 3 intention is to effortless keep (and of course recieve, but I pretend like I am already there :) my perfect body. Before, my scales were really a thing that could make or break a day. I would be soooooo excited if I was at the weight I wanted and if I was moving in the right direction. I could start cheering and dancing and really it gave me the energy to keep going with exercise and healthy eating. On the other hand if I weighed more than I wanted or if I was just moving in the wrong direction I would get down and sad. Often it led me to eating junk because "it didn´t matter anyway...".

Since a few weeks I have started weighing myself again - only this time I have made a copy (on a small piece of paper that fits in the display window) of the display showing my perfect weight. I have the copy on the display window upside-down all the time. Now every morning before jumping on the scales I just switch the paper and I see that I am weighing exactly what I want to weigh! It really gives me a huge boost - and I still dance and celebrate that I am at my perfect weight! It gives me so much motivation and it is a great tool for visualizing. :)

Anybody have any similar tips?

hi princess! it's been a while since you posted this...so i don't know if you're still looking to lose the weight but i thought i'd drop a line anyway. i'm also on a health journey and recently found the following abraham quote. i was gona make a quick vid about it but thought to share it with you anyway. hope it helps!

"We would like you to release the word "achieve" or "earn" from your vocabulary and from your understanding, altogether, and we would like you to replace those words with the word "allow". You're wanting to allow your Well-being, not achieve it. It's not something that you need to earn. All you have to do is decide what it is you would like to experience, and then allow it in order to achieve it. It isn't something you have to struggle for or try for. You are all worthy beings. You are deserving of this Well-being."

Hi,
I am trying to lose weight too. The best tool to utilize the secret that I use is to VISUALIZE. What will you look like when you are thin? What will you wear? What do you feel is attractive about your features and how can you make them stand out? What do you consider attractive? Is it just a certain feature, a set of features, a combination of looks and passionate charisma?

You have to know and visualize. Ask, believe, WORK TOWARDS, and recieve meaning: throw in an hour of exercise eat yummy HEALTHY foods. I do it so often now I dont even think about it. I went from having to lose 68.5 lbs to now just 43 more to go. Use your imagination. Daydream. Believe you are already as attractive as you want to be. Soon youll realize your walking down the street with the desired image of yourself in your head, all the while working towards it and projecting that energy out to people and the Universe.

Read The Secret and The Law of Attraction and Skinny Bitch(it worked for me,lol)
