We are excited to announce a new event to be conducted from 17 – 24 August 2009 entitled 'SATSANGS BY THE SEA' which will be conducted on a private island in the Baltic Sea off the coast of Sweden.
Join us for a relaxing and peaceful programme in the unspoilt environment of the Stockholm Archipelago with Tony Samara, a contemporary spiritual teacher and discover a path of profound transformation, evolution of consciousness and inner peace.
“Satsangs by the Sea” will commence with everyone's arrival on Monday 17th August and conclude with the departure of everyone on Monday 24th August 2009. (Arrival is possible at any time on the initial day with a welcome ceremony to commence after dinner).
The island Paradise we have discovered is a Buddhist Retreat Centre. It is one of the most beautiful areas in Sweden, offering a unique opportunity to get close to nature and totally away from civilisation. Imagine travelling to the venue by boat!
The quiet environment on the island has private beaches, rocks, sunny meadows, wonderful old oak trees and gardens and is surrounded by the Baltic Sea and many more small islands. The peaceful archipelago is a pristine nature reserve and due to this the retreat will encompass many aspects of a Vision Quest.
The size of the venue will accommodate a group of about 50-60 participants which will allow for a wonderful group atmosphere as well as personal nourishment and relaxation.
The retreat will be conducted in English.
The cost will be €795 (seven hundred and ninety five euros) for 7 nights of shared accommodation, daily satsangs with Tony Samara, special herbal detox preparations and three simple vegetarian meals with an organically swedish flavour each day. (Travel and transportation costs to get you to the venue are not included in this price.)
Single supplements/private rooms are available at an extra cost.
For those on a budget there are other economical accommodation options. There is also space for camping if you wish to bring your own tent home with you. (There are no tents available for hire on the island.)
